Such canyons are of high difficulty and are aimed to those who regularly practice this activity. These canyons, situated on the North Coast of Madeira, are located in the heart of the Laurissilva Forest where nature is found in its purest state. It has a 1h20m uphill approach, and lasts approximately 4 to 5 hours with a 30 minutes return. In order to book this canyoning is necessary that you have done the moderate tour with us before, or present a proof of the equivalent level of experience.
At this level, canyoning requires more advanced technical skills and knowledge for the usage of handrails and aerial belays. The selection of each and every canyoning will be made according to customers experience.
In order to ensure the maximum safety possible to our customers, this activity is always carried out by two guides certified in Canyoning by the I.P.D.J.
